Why getting paid from the US is still slow
Many companies outside the US still route client payments through agencies, intermediaries or international wires. The money lands in someone else's account, conversion happens when someone gets to it, and nobody can tell you where your payment is.
- International wires take days and lose value to correspondent bank fees.
- Intermediaries pool your money in their account before passing it on.
- Clients hesitate to pay foreign bank details they do not recognize.
- Nobody answers when a large payment goes missing.
Four steps, then it runs on its own.
- 01
Apply and verify
Open an account and complete business verification with Bridge, our regulated partner. Businesses are usually reviewed the same or the next business day.
- 02
Get your US account details
You receive an account number and routing number in your company's name, plus a PDF with your payment details.
- 03
Your client pays as usual
They send ACH, wire or FedNow from their US bank, exactly as they would pay a US supplier.
- 04
Stablecoins arrive in your wallet
When the payment lands, it is converted to USDC or USDT and sent to your HermodPay wallet or your own wallet. You see every step live.
Built for finance teams, not traders.
Your name on the account
Payments go to account details issued in your company's name, not to a pooled account of an intermediary.
Payment requests
Where third-party payments are available for your account, create a request with amount, reference and due date and incoming payments are matched to it by reference.
Payer shown on every payment
Each deposit shows who paid and the reference they used, so reconciliation takes minutes, not an afternoon.
Fee shown up front
Your fee is shown before you share payment details and itemized on every receipt.
How fast the money arrives
| Rail | Currency | Typical arrival |
|---|---|---|
| Wire | USD | Same day, often within hours |
| FedNow | USD | Usually minutes, where the sending bank supports it |
| ACH | USD | 1 to 2 business days |
Typical times from the moment your client sends. Cut-off times, holidays and compliance reviews can add delay.
Which payers and rails can be used to send funds to your account depends on Bridge's rules for your country and account type. We confirm what applies to you during onboarding.
Straight answers.
Do I need a US company to receive USD this way?
No. Companies in most countries can apply. You go through business verification with Bridge, and the account details are issued in your company's name. Some countries are not supported, and you will see that immediately when you apply.
Can my clients pay by ACH and wire?
Yes. Your account details support ACH, wire and, where the sending bank supports it, FedNow. Your client pays from their US bank account as they would pay a domestic supplier.
When do I receive the stablecoins?
Conversion starts as soon as the bank payment arrives. You see the payment move from received to converted to delivered in your activity feed. How fast the bank payment itself arrives depends on the rail your client uses.
Does HermodPay hold my money?
No. Accounts, conversion and custody are provided by Bridge, a Stripe company, and funds are held in your name. HermodPay never receives or holds customer funds.
What does it cost?
One percentage fee per payment, agreed with you when your account is approved and shown before every payment. There are no setup or monthly fees.
